DDH-1 - A headphone amplifier with a high resolution digital to analog converter, but also switchable to be a DAC with preamplifier or a fixed output DAC only. The preamp function is perfect for use with a direct connection to a power amplifier, or why not a pair of active speakers.
The front panel houses two headphone outputs, one 3.5mm and one 6.3mm, with the ability to drive headphones from 16ohms to 600ohms impedance. In other words, the DDH-1 will drive the market's headphones with ease. AMI MUSIC DDH-1 supports 24 bit/192kHz audio in asynchronous mode via USB so you can enjoy downloaded high-resolution music in all its glory. The coaxial and optical inputs also support 24bit/192kHz playback.
The sound is very responsive and organic.

To top it off with plenty of connections, the DDH-1 also gives you a 3.5mm analog audio input to allow older devices to be used with the DDH-1's excellent headphone amplifier.

Regarding speakers, be aware that speakers may need a long recording time to come into their own. After a couple of hours you can usually get a taste of what to expect, but a speaker deserves 100h+ before serious listening. The speakers we sell with ribbon tweeters need several hundred hours before they start to sing. So feel free to leave the speakers on around the clock so you can quickly accumulate hours.
