A solid built-in speaker where you get the deepest bass to the highest treble, RB-950 is suitable for both music and movies. The treble is adjustable so you can direct it to the listening position, you can also adjust the treble level in 3 modes.
As with all TAGA speakers, you get an open, transparent sound image with fine detail and fast dynamic attacks. Thanks to the lavish tweeter and a hefty 8 "element, you can play really loud with the RB-950. TAGA is very neutral speakers, just as you can read in the test below, it does not have an impressive effect but you will appreciate its benefits in the long run. This also makes TAGA so easy to integrate with other speakers.
But then again, if you want to go away from the neutral, it is easy today with the high-class equalizers available today in most receivers and even stereo amplifiers. This is also something we will see more of amplifiers in the higher class, rooms are rarely optimal and having a quality equalizer that processes in the digital domain does wonders for the reproduction, such as living rooms where it is very difficult to process acoustics and at the same time get it nice.
Thin TAGA Super Low-profile Bezel (TSLB), small minimum mounting depth, super visible blue mounting clamps, environmental equalizer and very rigid chassis with rubber-coated honeycomb structure of the front panel make the RB-950 a versatile and great performer.
The TPTTD Taga Pure Titanium Tweeter Dome can be manually swiveled to point a few degrees off center. Since the higher frequencies produced by the tweeter are highly directional, this feature can help optimize sound placement.

The proper design facilitates installations thanks to many specialized features:
- Very slim chassis to allow installations even in shallow places;
- TIMPC - TAGA Injection-Molded Polymer Chassis with a honeycomb structure is very rigid and strong to minimize distortions, vibrations or resonances. Additional rubber coating further stiffens chassis and improves sound performance;
- TEI - TAGA Easy Install mounting brackets are extremely easy and safe to install.The ABS clamps are in a visible blue color to ease installation in dark places;
- TSLB - TAGA Super Low-profile Bezel grills are magnetically mounted and paintable.They are aesthetic and virtually disappear in the ceiling or wall;
- +/- 3dB Environmental Equalizer (treble switch) compensates for speaker positioning and room anomalies;
- Swivel tweeter to direct a high frequency stream toward selected area in a room;
- TEC - TAGA Easy Connection: all speakers use high quality push-in banana binding posts accepting raw speaker cables up to 10AWG and most popular types of connectors (banana or pin plugs). Our binding posts make your installation very easy task to do;
- High 8 ohm impedance.

If for some reason you feel dissatisfied, just contact us and we will help you with the return shipping, you can also take advantage of our shipping agreements with lower prices. Costs that will be charged to the customer are the shipping to the customer and the return shipping to us at MYC HiFi. For return approval, the item must be returned in new condition and in the original packaging.
Regarding speakers, be aware that speakers may need a long recording time to come into their own. After a couple of hours you can usually get a taste of what to expect, but a speaker deserves 100h+ before serious listening. The speakers we sell with ribbon tweeters need several hundred hours before they start to sing. So feel free to leave the speakers on around the clock so you can quickly accumulate hours.
