HiVi SUB10D is a new high-end subwoofer for the Diva series with matching design and finish. Anti-Mode 8033
The award-winning Anti-Mode 8033 Cinema is a worldwide success with both regular users and professionals.
A typical listening room exhibits resonances in the bass register, affecting even the best subwoofer.
The inherent detail of the music is masked by the room resonances, which cloud the sound with their syrupy
noisiness. The problem is most pronounced when the subwoofer is placed near walls or in the corners of the room.
Anti-Mode technology eliminates the resonances from both the speaker and the room, by equalizing in both
amplitude and time domain, with highly accurate digital signal processing and anti-phasing technology.
This allows the listener to hear right down to the lowest frequencies the subwoofer can reproduce.
The transient response is also dramatically improved and bass is much more controlled.

"This is the easiest way to get good bass we have ever experienced! DSpeaker Anti-Mode 8033 is a small box that corrects the bass response in the room. It includes a measurement microphone and the correction is very simple. Just plug the box in between the amplifier and sub-bass. Hold down a button for three seconds and the test tones will start. Then go make a cup of coffee and hope the neighbors don't complain. The tones can be quite loud, and also resoundingly deep. That's why it's good that everything is done automatically. Anti-Mode corrects in the range between 16 and 144 Hz, and also takes into account the phase response. After the correction, you can choose whether to boost the bass at 20 or 30 Hz, if you find it sounds a bit flat and boring with completely linear bass. You can also unplug the device, which makes it easier to hear the difference between the sound before and after the correction. Keep in mind that the box delays the bass signal by 3 milliseconds, so the distance to the sub-bass must be set to 90 cm longer in the home theater amplifier's menu system. If Anti-Mode is switched on when you run the amplifier's auto-calibration, it will notice the delay. Even in a room with good acoustics, there is quite a dramatic difference between before and after the correction. The first thing we notice is that the bass sounds a little lower. The great thing is that it's so clean and unblemished that we can easily raise the level. A high-quality sub like the Earthquake Mk6-15 can handle this because it has so much power. And the bass response is so majestic that you just sit and grin! Bass instruments become even tighter and have even better timing. Suddenly the sub-bass sounds like it's one with the speakers. While the subwoofer has many settings, they are of the manual variety and you need measuring equipment to set them optimally. DSpeaker Anti-Mode is fully automatic! This is simply the best upgrade your subwoofer can get!"

Regarding speakers, be aware that speakers may need a long recording time to come into their own. After a couple of hours you can usually get a taste of what to expect, but a speaker deserves 100h+ before serious listening. The speakers we sell with ribbon tweeters need several hundred hours before they start to sing. So feel free to leave the speakers on around the clock so you can quickly accumulate hours.
